These terms apply to the use of the Rest & Reset app, provided by Studio Bloom Software (Business ID 3664384-1, Finland, [email protected]). By using the app you accept these terms.
1. What the app is for
Rest & Reset is a wellbeing app for small daily moments: breathing, movement and pause exercises, and logging your mood, sleep, hydration and phone breaks.
The app is not a medical device and does not replace a healthcare professional. Its content is general wellbeing information, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you have concerns about your physical or mental health, please contact a healthcare professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number (112 in the EU).
2. Doing the exercises
Do the exercises at your own pace and as feels right for you. Stop an exercise if you feel dizzy, uncomfortable or in pain. If you have, for example, a heart or respiratory condition, are pregnant, or are unsure whether an exercise suits you, ask a healthcare professional first. Do not do the exercises while driving, for example.
3. Free version and Rest & Reset Premium
The app is free to download. The free version shows ads.
Rest & Reset Premium is a subscription, paid monthly or yearly, that adds features and removes the ads. What Premium includes and its prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- The subscription is bought and paid for through Google Play, and the Google Play terms also apply to it.
- The subscription renews automatically every month or every year, depending on the plan you chose, until you cancel it.
- The yearly plan starts with a free week for anyone who has not subscribed to Premium before. The free week is available only once per Google account, as recorded by Google Play. If you cancel during the free week, you are not charged anything. Otherwise the yearly subscription and its first payment begin when the free week ends.
- You can cancel at any time in your Google Play subscription settings. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and Premium stays available until then.
- Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy.
- If you change phones or reinstall the app, you can restore your subscription in Rest & Reset Premium → Restore purchases with the same Google account.
Studio Bloom Software may change what Premium includes or its price. Price changes are announced before they take effect, under Google Play's policies.
4. Your information
What you log in the app is stored only on your own phone. Studio Bloom Software does not keep it, so we cannot restore it if it is lost, for example when you change phones or remove the app. See the privacy policy for more.
5. Rights
The app and its content, such as texts, exercises, images and design, belong to Studio Bloom Software or its licensors. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify or distribute the app or its content without permission. Licences for third-party material used in the app are listed in Settings → About → Licenses.
6. Limitation of liability
The app is provided as is. We aim for the app to work well, but cannot guarantee that it always works without errors or interruptions. To the extent permitted by mandatory law, Studio Bloom Software is not liable for indirect damages or, for example, lost entries. These terms do not limit your statutory consumer rights.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. The updated version is published on this page with its date. By continuing to use the app after a change, you accept the updated terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. As a consumer, you may also take a dispute to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (https://www.kuluttajariita.fi/en) or to the consumer authorities of your own country.
