This policy explains what information the Rest & Reset app and this website handle, why, and by whom.

2. In short
- The app has no user account and no sign-in.
- Everything you log in the app (mood, sleep, water, phone breaks, saved thoughts, reflections, favourites and reminder settings) is stored only on your own phone. Studio Bloom Software never receives this information, and it is not sent to any server.
- The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. Google processes information about your device for advertising, as described below.
- The Rest & Reset Premium subscription is bought through Google Play. Studio Bloom Software never sees your payment details.
- The app has no analytics and does not track its users.
3. Information stored on your phone
The app stores on your phone's own storage:
- your mood, sleep, water and phone-break entries
- the thoughts you save in Room for Thoughts and your monthly reflections
- your favourite exercises
- reminder and app settings (such as the language)
- whether a Premium subscription is active, and technical details for showing ads (such as when the launch ad was last shown).
This information is for you only. You can delete it at any time in Settings → Reset all data, or by uninstalling the app.
If Android backup is turned on on your phone, Android may include the app's data in your phone's backup to your own Google account. This is managed in your phone's settings, and the backup is available only to you.
Reminders are local notifications. They are scheduled on your phone and are not sent over the internet.
4. Advertising (free version)
The free version shows ads through Google AdMob. To show ads, Google may process, for example:
- your device's advertising ID
- your IP address and the approximate location derived from it
- information about your device and operating system
- information about ads shown and your interactions with them.
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent with Google's consent form before any ads are requested. You can allow or refuse the use of your information for advertising. If you refuse, Google may still show limited ads that do not use your information for targeting. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy settings.
You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings.
Google acts as an independent controller for advertising. More information: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Premium subscribers see no ads, and no ads are requested for them at all.
5. Purchases (Rest & Reset Premium)
The Premium subscription is bought and paid for through Google Play. Google processes your payment and subscription under the Google Play terms and Google's privacy policy. The app only receives from Google Play whether the subscription is active. Studio Bloom Software does not receive your name, card details or any other payment information.

6. This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party content, and it loads no fonts or scripts from other services. Your browser's IP address is used only to deliver the pages to you. The website does not keep visitor access logs.
7. Legal bases
- Information stored on your phone: providing the app you use (contract). Studio Bloom Software does not process this information.
- Personalised advertising: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Limited advertising and purchases: legitimate interest and contract.
- Delivering this website: legitimate interest.
8. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and Studio Bloom Software does not knowingly collect their information.
9. Your rights
As Studio Bloom Software never receives what you log in the app, you control that information directly on your phone: you can view, change and delete it. For information processed by Google, you can exercise your rights through Google (https://myaccount.google.com).
If you believe your information is processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Finland: https://tietosuoja.fi/en).
